The Geneva Conventions Act (Isle of Man) Order 2010

Present,

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 8(2)(b) of the Geneva Conventions Act 1957(1) and section 79(3) of the International Criminal Court Act 2001(2), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to make the following Order:

(1)

1957 c.52; by virtue of section 7(4) of the Geneva Conventions (Amendment) Act 1995 (c. 27) and section 3(3) of the Geneva Conventions and United Nations Personnel (Protocols) Act 2009 (c. 6), section 8(2) of the 1957 Act applies in relation to the provisions of the 1995 Act and section 1 of and the Schedule to the 2009 Act as if they were contained in the 1957 Act.
