Citation, commencement and transitional provision1.

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Asylum (First List of Safe Countries) (Amendment) Order 2010.

(2)

This Order shall come into force the day after the day on which it is made.

(3)

The amendment made by article 2—

(a)

applies in relation to asylum and human rights claims made before the commencement of this Order (as well as those made after), but

(b)

does not apply in relation to an asylum or human rights claim if, before the commencement of this Order, a decision is made to refuse the claimant leave to enter the United Kingdom or to remove the claimant from the United Kingdom.
