The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5A and 7(1) of the Olympic Symbol etc. (Protection) Act 1995 M1 and paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 to the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006 M2 :
