Provisions coming into force on 1st October 20102

Subject to articles 3 to 25, the relevant provisions of the 2010 Act, as set out in the following paragraphs, come into force on 1st October 2010.

In Part 2 (equality: key concepts), the relevant provisions are—

section 6 in so far as it is not already in force;

In Part 3 (services and public functions), all the provisions are relevant provisions except—

so far as they apply to the protected characteristic of age;
