Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) (Revocation) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 11th May 2009.

Revocation

2.  The Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) Order 1996 (2) is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order revokes the Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) Order 2006 (SI 1996/717) and removes the Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals (all of which have been abolished), from the Health Service Commissioner’s jurisdiction.

This Order imposes no costs on business, charities or the voluntary sector.
