Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) (Revocation) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 11th May 2009.
2. The Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) Order 1996 (2) is revoked.

This Order revokes the Health Service Commissioner for England (Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals) Order 2006 (SI 1996/717) and removes the Authorities for the Ashworth, Broadmoor and Rampton Hospitals (all of which have been abolished), from the Health Service Commissioner’s jurisdiction.
This Order imposes no costs on business, charities or the voluntary sector.
1993 c.46. Sub-section 2(5)(b) was amended by the Government of Wales Act 1998, ss112, 152, Sch 10, para 3(3), Sch 18, Pt 1 and sub-section 2(6) was substituted by the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005, ss38, 39(1), Sch 6, paras 31(1), (4).
