The electoral divisions of the county of West Sussex are abolished3.

The county is divided into seventy-one electoral divisions each bearing a name listed in the Schedule.

Each electoral division comprises the area designated on sheet 1 of the map by reference to the name of the electoral division and demarcated by red lines.

One councillor is to be elected for each electoral division.

Where a boundary is shown on the map as running along a road, railway line, footway, watercourse or similar geographical feature, it shall be treated as running along the centre line of the feature.
