5. The Schedule to the Principal Order is amended as follows—
(a)After “Schedule” where it appears in the heading, insert “1”.
(b)In the table of fixed penalties in Schedule 1 to the Principal Order, after the entry relating to “a fixed penalty offence under section 33 of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994”, insert the following—

Section 98(4) was first amended by paragraph 9(2) of Schedule 4 to the European Communities Act 1972 (c.68). It was subsequently amended by section 2(1) of the Road Traffic (Drivers’ Ages and Hours of Work) Act 1976 (c.3), sections 38 and 46 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982 (c.48) in respect of England and Wales, and by sections 289F and 289G of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975 (c.21) (as inserted by section 54 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982) in respect of Scotland.
Section 99(4) was amended by sections 38 and 46 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982 in respect of England and Wales, and by sections 289F and 289G of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975 (as inserted by section 54 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982) in respect of Scotland.
Section 99ZD(1) was inserted by S.I. 2005/1904.
Section 99C was inserted by section 266 of the Transport Act 2000 (c.38).
1972 c.27. Section 3(1) was amended, in relation to England and Wales, by sections 39(2) and 46 of, and Schedule 2 to, the Criminal Justice Act 1982, and, in relation to Scotland, by section 3 of and paragraph 10 of Schedule 1 and Part III of Schedule 2 to the Criminal Procedure (Consequential Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1995 (c.40).
1981 c.14. Section 12(5) was amended, in relation to England and Wales, by sections 38 and 46 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982 and, in relation to Scotland, by sections 289F and 289G of the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1975 (as inserted by section 54 of the Criminal Justice Act 1982).
1988 c.52. Section 71 was substituted by section 14 of the Road Traffic Act 1991.
Section 90D was inserted by section 11 of the Road Safety Act 2006.
1995 c. 23. Section 2(5) was amended by section 261 of the Transport Act 2000.
