Commencement of section 314 of, and Schedule 15 to, the Act in relation to Scotland and Northern Ireland

3.  Section 314 in so far as it relates to Part 2 of Schedule 15 to the Act (Scotland and Northern Ireland) shall come into force on 2nd March 2009 in relation to applications—

(a) for accommodation or assistance in obtaining accommodation under Part I (provision of housing) or Part II (homeless persons) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1), or

(b) for housing assistance under Part II (housing the homeless) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1988(2),

made on or after 2nd March 2009.

1987 c.26. Sections 20, 30, 31, 32 and 34 of the Act were amended by, and section 35A was inserted by, the Housing (Scotland ) Act 2001 asp 10. There are other amendments to the 1987 Act that are not relevant to these Regulations.
