The Leader of the House of Commons makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(1), (2) and (4) of the Parliamentary and other Pensions Act 1987(1).
The Trustees of the Parliamentary Contributory Pension Fund and such persons as appeared to the Leader to represent persons likely to be affected by these Regulations have been consulted about them.
These Regulations are made with the consent of the Minister for the Civil Service(2).
