Coming into force

The General Chiropractic Council has made the General Chiropractic Council (Constitution of the Statutory Committees) Rules 2009, which are set out in the Schedule to this Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 35(2) of, and paragraphs 16(2), 17(4), 25, 30, 34 and 38 of Schedule 1 to, the Chiropractors Act 19941.

By virtue of section 35(1) of that Act, such Rules shall not come into force until approved by Order of the Privy Council.

Their Lordships, having taken these Rules into consideration, are pleased to and do approve them.
