1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 1st October 2009.
(2) This Part extends to Great Britain.
(3) In Part 2—
(a)regulations 4, 5 and 6 extend to Great Britain;
(b)regulation 7 extends to England and Wales only; and
(c)regulation 8 extends to Scotland only.
(4) Parts 3 and 4 extend to England and Wales only.
2. In these Regulations, “the 1994 Regulations” means the Conservation (Natural Habitats, &c.) Regulations 1994(1).
3. The 1994 Regulations are amended in accordance with Parts 2, 3 and 4.
