These Regulations amend the Gambling (Personal Licence Fees) Regulations 2006 (“the 2006 Regulations”) made under the Gambling Act 2005 (“the Act”). The amendments set new levels of fees that will be payable under the 2006 Regulations from xx August 2009.
The 2006 Regulations prescribe application, maintenance and other fees relating to personal licences issued under Part 6 of the Act.
Regulation 3 amends Regulation 3 of the 2006 Regulations so as to increase the fee to accompany an application for a personal licence. The application fee for a personal management licence is increased from £330 to £370. The application fee for a personal functional licence is increased from £165 to £185.
Regulation 4 amends Regulation 4 of the 2006 Regulations so as to increase the maintenance fee payable by a personal licence holder. The maintenance fee for a personal management licence is increased from £330 to £370. The maintenance fee for a personal functional licence is increased from £165 to £185.
