Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and come into force on 13th July 2009.

Amendment of Regulations

2.  The Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002(1) are amended by substituting for the definition of “Technical Instructions” in regulation 3(1)—

‘Technical Instructions’ means the 2009–2010 English language edition of the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, as amended by Addendum No. 2/Corrigendum No. 1 dated 19th February 2009 and Addendum No. 3/Corrigendum No. 2 dated 24th March 2009, approved and published by decision of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation(2);.

Revocation

3.  The following Regulations are revoked—

(a)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2004(3);

(b)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2005(4);

(c)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2006(5);

(d)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2007(6);

(e)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2007(7);

(f)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2008(8); and

(g)the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2008(9).
