Local transport policies and plans developed and prepared jointly for an integrated transport area by an Integrated Transport Authority and the councils for the metropolitan districts comprised in the area, in accordance with section 108(1)(a) and (3) and section 113(1) of the TA 2000 (role of metropolitan district councils), shall on and after 9th February 2009 be treated as local transport policies and plans developed and prepared by the Integrated Transport Authority in accordance with section 108(1)(a) of the TA 2000, including for the purposes of this Order.
