This Order brings into force on 6th April 2008 section 68 of the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005, which repeals section 3 of the Dogs Act 1906, with savings for the purposes of section 2(2) and (3) of the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953, and makes minor amendments to section 150 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. It also brings into force Part 6 of Schedule 5 to the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005, which also repeals section 4 of the Dogs Act 1906, section 2 of the Dogs (Amendment) Act 1928 and section 39 of the Local Government Act 1988.
