14. In Schedule 11 to the Building Societies Act 1986 (auditors)—
(a)in the heading, omit “, qualifications”;
(b)omit paragraph 5(1).
Paragraph 5 has been amended by the Schedule to the Companies Act 1989 (Eligibility for Appointment as Company Auditor) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 1991 (S.I. 1991/1997), paragraph 65, the Companies Act 1989 Part II (Consequential Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1995 (S.I. 1995/2723), regulation 2, the Building Societies Act 1997 (c.32), Schedule 7, paragraph 61 and the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Mutual Societies) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/2617), Schedule 3, paragraphs 131 and 206.
