The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by paragraph 2(12)(a) of Schedule 2 to the Museums and Galleries Act 1992(1)(“the Act”):
1. This Order may be cited as the Tate Gallery Board (Additional Members) Order 2008 and comes into force on 21st March 2008.
2. In paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 2 to the Act, for “twelve” substitute “fourteen”.

This Order amends paragraph 2(1) of Schedule 2 to the Museums and Galleries Act 1992 so as to increase the number of members of the Tate Gallery Board from twelve to fourteen.
