26.—(1) The City of Chester (Electoral Changes) Order 1998(1) is amended by the omission of article 5 (parish elections).
(2) Nothing in paragraph (1) shall affect the elections to be held in 2008 of parish councillors for the parishes of Aldford, Buerton, Churton-by-Aldford, Churton-by-Farndon, Churton Heath, Claverton, Clotton Hoofield, Dodleston, Eaton, Eccleston, Farndon, Lea Newbold, Lower Kinnerton, Marlston-cum-Lache, Poulton, Pulford, Rowton, Saighton and Waverton.
