28. Regulation 27 shall have effect as if references to members of the Metropolitan Police Authority included references to persons who are not members of the Metropolitan Police Authority but are members of the Metropolitan Police Authority standards committee; and the power to make different payments according to the recipient shall include power to make different payments to persons who are not members of the Metropolitan Police Authority but are members of the Metropolitan Police Authority standards committee.
