Provisions coming into force on the 17th December 20082

17th December 2008 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Act for the purposes of making regulations2—

a

section 63(1) (amendments and repeals) in so far as it relates to the provisions of Schedule 9 set out in paragraphs (b) and (c);

b

i

paragraph 5(2), (3), (6) and (7), in relation to England;

ii

paragraph 5(4);

iii

paragraph 5(1), in so far as it relates to the provisions specified in sub-paragraphs (i) and (ii);

iv

paragraph 6(2), (3) and (6), in relation to England;

v

paragraph 6(4);

vi

paragraph 6(1), in so far as it relates to the provisions specified in sub-paragraphs (iv) and (v);

vii

paragraph 7, in relation to England;

c

paragraph 2, in so far as it relates to the provisions specified in paragraph (b).
