The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 140A(1),(2), (4) to (6), 140B(1) and 175 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19921, sections 136A(1),(2),(4) to (6), 136B(1) and 171 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19922 and section 115(3) and (5) of the Immigration and Asylum Act 19993 make the following regulations:
