Whereas the Secretary of State has by Order authorised the Parks for People (England) Joint Scheme (“the Scheme”), having received an application made for the purpose by the bodies proposing to participate in the joint scheme, namely the Big Lottery Fund and the National Heritage Memorial Fund;
And whereas the participants in the Scheme have modified it and have applied to the Secretary of State for an Order to be made authorising the Scheme as so modified;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 2(1), 3 and 6(1) of Schedule 3A to the National Lottery etc Act 1993(1).
1993 c.39; Schedule 3A was inserted by section 12(3) of, and Schedule 3 to, the National Lottery Act 1998 (c.22). Paragraph 2 of Schedule 3A was amended (by the addition of sub-paragraph (6)) by paragraph 15(12) of the Schedule to the Scotland Act 1998 (Modification of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/1756).
