Amendment of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 2001

2.—(1) The Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 2001 F1 are amended as follows.
(2) In Part 10 of Schedule 3 (miscellaneous payments to be disregarded in the computation of an employed earner's earnings)—
(a)in sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 1 F2 for “2 to 20” substitute “2 to 21”; and
(b)after paragraph 20 insert the following paragraph—
“Better off in Work Credit payments
21. Any Better off in Work Credit payment made pursuant to arrangements made by the Secretary of State under section 2 of the Employment and Training Act 1973 F3.
This paragraph does not apply to Northern Ireland.”
