1. This Order may be cited as The Dartmouth-Kingswear Floating Bridge (Vehicle Classifications & Revision of Charges) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 13 August 2008.
2. The tolls that the Company may demand, take and recover for the use of the floating bridge are revised so that those tolls shall not exceed the sums set out in the Schedule to this Order.
3. In this Order—
“the Company” means The Dartmouth-Kingswear Floating Bridge Company Limited;
“the floating bridge” has the meaning given to that expression in section 2 of The Dartmouth-Kingswear Floating Bridge Act 1988(1);
“passenger vehicle and “goods vehicle” have the meanings given to those expressions in regulation 3(2) of the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986(2).
4. The Dartmouth-Kingswear Floating Bridge (Vehicle Classifications & Revision of Charges) Order 2008(3) is revoked.
