Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Rules 2005

19.  In the note after rule 66.6 (Powers of Court of Appeal judge), for “53(4) of the Supreme Court Act 1981(1)” substitute “31 of the Criminal Appeal Act 1968(2)”.

It is further amended by section 67 of, and paragraph 4 of Schedule 4 to, the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 (c. 23) and section 47 of, and paragraphs 1, 9 and 11 of Schedule 8 to, the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 (c. 4), with effect from dates to be appointed.
