(This note is not part of the Order)
These Regulations amend the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 2004 to increase the fee payable on each application for a licence for the provision of facilities for adventure activities or on the renewal of such a licence.
An impact assessment has not been carried out as the increase in the fee is intended to reflect inflation since the last increase in June 2004 and projected inflation until the fee is next reviewed and as a result it is not anticipated that there will be any impact on business or the voluntary sector.
1995 c. 15. Sections 1 and 3 were amended by S.I. 2008/960.
The functions of the Secretary of State were, in so far as exercisable in relation to Wales, transferred to the National Assembly for Wales by Article 2 of the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/672) and are now vested in the Welsh Ministers by virtue of paragraph 30 of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c. 32).
