Amendment to the Contact Lens (Qualifications Etc.) Rules 1988

5.  In rule 3 (qualifications required for fitting of contact lens by a registered optometrist or registered dispensing optician) of the Contact Lens (Qualifications Etc.) Rules 1988(1) between “and” and “the fitting” there shall be inserted “, in the case of a registered dispensing optician,”.

Given under the official seal of the General Optical Council on the 3rd day of July 2008.
