The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 125A(3) of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 19801, makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Magistrates’ Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) (Amendment) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 3 December 2007.

Amendment to the Magistrates’ Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 20002

In article 2 of the Magistrates’ Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 20002, after paragraph (e) insert—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

Sections 125A to 125D of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980, as inserted by section 92, 93, 94 and 96 of the Access to Justice Act 1999, make provision for the enforcement of warrants issued under statutory provisions specified by order. This Order amends the Magistrates’ Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 2000 which specifies such provisions.
