EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations amend the annual fees set out in Schedule 3 to the Gambling (Operating Licence and Single-Machine Permit Fees) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/3284), for all categories of non-remote operating licence. These Regulations replace the table in Schedule 3 to the 2006 Regulations in its entirety.

Operating licences are issued by the Gambling Commission under Part 5 of the Gambling Act 2005, and annual fees are payable for such licences under section 100 of that Act. Terms used in these Regulations are defined in the 2006 Regulations and the 2005 Act.
