1. This Order may be cited as the A34 Trunk Road (Chieveley Interchange) (40 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 200 and shall come into force on 12th February 2007.
2. In this Order:
“the A34” means the A34 Trunk Road near Chieveley in the District of West Berkshire;
“the M4” means the M4 Motorway near Chieveley in the District of West Berkshire;
“Junction 13” means the junction of the M4 with the A34;
“carriageway” means any way (other than a cycle track) comprised in the trunk road over which the public have a right of way for the passage of vehicles and which has a surface suitable for the exercise of that right;
“on-slip” means any road leading to the A34; and
“off-slip” means any road leading from the A34.
3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to be driven at a speed exceeding 40 miles per hour on the lengths of the A34 specified in Schedule 1 to this Order.
