The Electricity (Standards of Performance) (Amendment) Regulations 2007

The Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (the “Authority”)1 makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 39, 42A and 60 of the Electricity Act 1989 (“the Act”) 2.
In accordance with sections 39(1) and 39B(3) and (5) of the Act the Secretary of State has given his consent to the making of these Regulations.
In accordance with section 40B(1)(b) of the Act the Authority has published a notice of its intention to make these Regulations. No representations were made.
In accordance with section 40B(1)(c) of the Act the Authority has consulted the Gas and Electricity Consumer Council3, electricity suppliers and persons and bodies appearing to be representative of persons likely to be affected by the Regulations.
