Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Gambling Act 2005 (Exempt Gaming in Alcohol-Licensed Premises) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 1st September 2007.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Act” means the Gambling Act 2005, and
“poker” includes any version of that game, whatever name it is called.
(3) For the purposes of these Regulations, a reference to a day is a reference to a period of 24 hours beginning at midday.
