Coming into force
The Treasury, with the concurrence of the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 117(1) and 175(1), (1A) and (3) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 19921, and with the concurrence of the Department for Social Development, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 117(1) and 171(1), (3) and (10) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 19922, by this instrument, which contains only provisions in consequence of an order under section 141 of the Social Security Administration Act 19923 and section 129 of the Social Security Administration (Northern Ireland) Act 19924, make the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Contributions) (Re-rating) Consequential Amendment Regulations 2007.

These Regulations shall come into force on 6th April 2007 immediately after the coming into force of the Social Security (Contributions) (Re-rating and National Insurance Funds Payments) Order 20075.
Amendment to the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 20012
In regulation 125(c) of the Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 20016 (modification of provisions of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 in relation to share fishermen), for “£2.75” substitute “£2.85”.
The Secretary of State concurs.
