These Regulations amend the definition of “moorland” in the Hill Farm Allowance Regulations 2006 (“the principal Regulations”). The principal Regulations defined moorland by reference to the Moorland Map of England 1992. That map was reviewed in 2005 and 2006 and a new map, called the “Moorland Map of England 2006”, was compiled. The definition of “moorland” in the principal Regulations is accordingly amended by these Regulations to refer to the Moorland Map of England 2006.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on the costs of business.
