Amendments to the 2003 Regulations5

Regulation 22 of the 2003 Regulations (duty) is amended as follows.

At the end of paragraph (1)(d) omit “and”.

After paragraph (1)(e) insert the following sub-paragraphs—
f
the circumstances in which a member of a police force is to be treated as if he were a night worker for the purposes of regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of the Working Time Regulations 19985; and
g
the periods which are to be treated as if they were additional periods of working time for the purposes of regulation 2(1) of the Working Time Regulations 1998.
