The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 103 of the Army Act 1955(1), section 103 of the Air Force Act 1955(2), section 58 of the Naval Discipline Act 1957(3), and sections 20(6), 37(5), 38(6), 43(3) and 65(1) of the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999(4), makes the following Rules:
1999 c. 23; Chapters 1 to 5 of Part 2, and sections 62, 63 and 65, apply to proceedings before courts-martial subject to the modifications specified in the Youth Justice and Criminal Evidence Act 1999 (Application to Courts-Martial) Order 2006 (S.I. 2006/2886).
