1. This Order may be cited as the Race Relations Act 1976 (General Statutory Duty) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 3rd October 2006.
2. Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976(1) is amended as follows:
(a)in Part 1, under the sub-heading “Other housing bodies”, omit the entry “Scottish Homes.”;
(b)in Part 2, under the sub-heading “Libraries, museums and arts”, omit the entry “The Royal Fine Art Commission for Scotland.”;
(c)in Part 3, under the sub-heading “Other Bodies etc.”, omit the entry “The Pensions Compensation Board.”;
(d)in Part 4, under the sub-heading “Other Bodies etc”, omit the entry “Bòrd na Gàidhlig (Alba)”; and
(e)after Part 4, insert the headings and entries set out in the Schedule to this Order.
