(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001 (Transitional Provisions) Order of Council 2004. That Order made transitional provisions arising out of the implementation of the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001. The effect of the amendments is that, in relation to outstanding cases relating to the fitness to practise of nurses and midwives, it is no longer a requirement that a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council should be a member of the Preliminary Proceedings Committee, the Professional Conduct Committee or the Health Committee.
