D.13.    Pension credit member’s rights U.K.

(1) Where regulation 7(5) of the Pension Sharing (Pension Credit Benefit) Regulations 2000(1) (early or deferred retirement) applies, the Secretary of State must be reasonably satisfied that the requirements of that regulation have been met.

(2) Section 68A(2)(a) of the Pension Schemes Act 1993(2) (safeguarded rights) applies to the safeguarded rights of pension credit members.

(3) Benefits that are attributable to a pension credit may not be aggregated with any other benefits to which the pension credit member is entitled under the Scheme.
