The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by article 70(1) of the Air Navigation Order 2005(1), hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) (Amendment) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 30th December 2005.
2. The Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002(2) shall be amended by substituting for the definition of “Technical Instructions” in Regulation 3(1)—
““Technical Instructions” means the 2005–2006 English language edition of the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, as amended by the Addendum to those Instructions dated 18th March 2005 and Addendum No. 2 dated 30th June 2005, which was approved and published by decision of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation.”

These Regulations further amend the Air Navigation (Dangerous Goods) Regulations 2002. The definition of “Technical Instructions” is further amended so as to include two addenda to the 2005–2006 edition of the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air, approved and published by decision of the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organisation.
