1. This Order may be cited as the Renewable Energy Zone (Designation of Area) (Scottish Ministers) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 9th December 2005.
2. The area in relation to which the Scottish Ministers are to have functions shall be that part of the Renewable Energy Zone described in the Schedule to this Order.
3. In this Order—
(a)“the Renewable Energy Zone” shall mean those areas of the sea specified in the Renewable Energy Zone (Designation of Area) Order 2004(1); and
(b)“co-ordinates” means co-ordinates on the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 84) compatible European Terrestrial Reference System 1989 (ETRS 89) geodetic datum.
