1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Public Interest Disclosure (Prescribed Persons) (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st October 2005.
(2) In this Order—
“the Schedule” means the Schedule to the Public Interest Disclosure (Prescribed Persons) Order 1999(1).
(3) In this Order (save where the context otherwise requires) references to entries are references to entries in the Schedule.
2. The Schedule is amended in accordance with article 3 below.
3.—(1) After the entry relating to the Civil Aviation Authority, there shall be inserted the entry in the Schedule to this Order relating to the Office of Communications.
(2) The entry relating to the Director General of Telecommunications shall be deleted.
(3) After the entry relating to Audit Scotland, there shall be inserted the entry in the Schedule to this Order relating to the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.
(4) The entries relating to the Director General of Electricity Supply and Director General of Gas Supply shall be deleted.
(5) For the entry relating to the Commission for Healthcare Audit and Inspection or the Commission for Social Care Inspection, there shall be substituted the entries in the Schedule to this Order relating to the Commission for Healthcare Audit and Inspection and the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
(6) For the entry relating to the National Assembly for Wales there shall be substituted the entry in the Schedule to this Order relating to the National Assembly for Wales.
(7) The entry relating to the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority shall be amended to refer to the Pensions Regulator in substitution for the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority.
