1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Categorisation) (England) (No.2) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 28th September 2005
(2) This Order applies in relation to English local authorities(1).
2. The English local authorities (“authorities”), to which the report of the Audit Commission dated 18th July 2005 relates, are, by this Order, categorised in accordance with their categorisation in that report.
3. The authorities listed in Schedule 1 to this Order are categorised as excellent.
4. The authorities listed in Schedule 2 to this Order are categorised as good.
5. The authorities listed in Schedule 3 to this Order are categorised as fair.
6. The authorities listed in Schedule 4 to this Order are categorised as weak.
7. The authorities listed in Schedule 5 to this Order are categorised as poor.
8. The Local Authorities (Categorisation) (England) Order 2005(2) is revoked.
