16.—(1) Where sections 38 to 56 apply in relation to an occupational pension scheme which is a multi-employer scheme, those sections are modified so that references to the employer are to be treated as references to any employer in relation to the scheme to which those sections apply.
(2) In sections 38 to 51, in relation to a multi-employer scheme, any reference to the estimated section 75 debt, in relation to the scheme, shall be modified so that it applies as if it were a reference to the section 75 debt due from any specified employer in relation to the scheme calculated in accordance with sections 75 and 75A of the Pensions Act 1995(1) and any regulations made thereunder.
Section 75A is inserted by section 272 of the Act.
