Confirmation of scheme status6

This regulation applies where the Board has given a notice (“scheme status notice”) under section 183(2) (scheme rescue not possible or has occurred).

Where a scheme status notice has become binding and the Board gives a notice under section 183(5) (“the Board notice”) to that effect, that notice must be in writing and must contain the following information—

a

the name or type of Board notice;

b

the date of issue;

c

the name, address and pension scheme registration number of the scheme in respect of which the notice is issued;

d

the name of the employer in relation to the scheme in respect of which the notice is issued;

e

the date on which the scheme status notice was issued;

f

a statement that the scheme status notice has become binding; and

g

whether the Board notice contains any restricted information and, if so, the nature of the restriction.
