Amend section 47 (further provisions concerning entitlement to guaranteed minimum pensions for the purposes of section 46) as follows—
a
in subsection (1)12, after “widower” insert “or surviving civil partner”;
b
in subsection (3)—
i
for “widow or widower” (in each place) substitute “widow, widower or surviving civil partner”; and
ii
for “widow’s or widower's” substitute “widow's, widower’s or surviving civil partner's”.
