2.—(1) Regulation 1(3) of the principal Regulations (interpretation) is amended as follows.
(2) In the definition of “local authority”, in both paragraphs (a) and (b) respectively, after “applies”, for “and” there is substituted “,”; and after “London” there is inserted “and the Council of the Isles of Scilly(1)”.
See S.I. 2004/1412 which applied the relevant powers under section 21 of the Local Government Act 2000 (c. 22) to the Council and S.I. 2004/1425 extending sections 7, 8 and 9 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Health and Social Care Act 2001 (c. 15) to the Council.
