Explanatory Note

This Order designates the District of Basildon, with the exception of the entire length of each of the A13, A127 and A130 trunk roads within that district and the link road, known as “the old A130”, from the A130 to its junction with the A127 arterial road at the Fairglen Interchange, as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. The Order applies the specified provisions of Part II of that Act, with some modifications, to the designated area. It also modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
