British Transport Commission Act 1953
22. Section 52 (service of notices to treat) of the British Transport Commission Act 1953(1) shall apply in relation to Transport for London as, immediately before the coming into force of this Order, it applied in relation to London Regional Transport.

1953 c. xlii; section 52 was amended by the Transport Act 1962, Schedule 2, Part III and the Transport Act 1968, Schedule 16, paragraph 7(1)(b) and (3)(c) and was applied to London Regional Transport by virtue of the Transport (London) Act 1969 (c. 35), section 17(5) and the London Regional Transport Act 1984, Schedule 4, paragraph 6(1), (2)(b) and (3)(f).
