The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 1 of the Import, Export and Customs Powers (Defence) Act 1939(1) hereby makes the following Order.
1. This Order may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Iraq and Kuwait Sanctions) (Revocation) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 14th June 2003.
2. The Export of Goods (Control) (Iraq and Kuwait Sanctions) Order 1990(2) is hereby revoked.

In accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1483 lifting the sanctions against Iraq, this Order revokes the prohibition on exports to Iraq and Kuwait.
